I swing through and grab the kids on the way home.

Both younsters inform me that they wish it was Monday so they could go to school.  Um… what?  That’s not exactly what I had in mind.

Perhaps in my advancing years, I’ve some how forgotten the anticipation of the coming school year through the eyes of a kid.  But maybe, and perhaps it’s what still rattles around in my brain as the most lucid rememberance of the coming school year, my kids are just a little different.
